Barrier rigs are most widely used by highway contractors. This vehicle enables work to be conducted at the side of the carriageway and carried out in just one journey. Projects utilising our barrier rig hire services are able to complete tasks in just one journey, due to their versatility. One of our most recent highway maintenance fleet additions has been the barrier rig vehicles.

The introduction of these was spurred by our understanding of our customer’s requirements for the latest specification vehicles ensuring high levels of safety and equipment features. This is a huge benefit of our barrier rig hire service, the fact that we carry out regular maintenance on our vehicles too means that you do not have to worry about the functionality or safety. You can focus on the job at hand, without worrying about the condition of the vehicles.

Mounted on a mix of 18 and 26 tonne chassis these vehicles comprise of Palfinger PK 19.001 cranes and Orteco HD 800 pile drivers and complemented by a custom built body with an integrated fall prevention system. The combination of these elements means that this barrier rig is extremely reliable and can effectively carry out the tasks you require, to a high standard.
